Maybe you would like to try YATZY, which is the Scandinavian version of YAHTZEE ? The two games are quite similar, but still there are a number of differences:
Upper Section Bonus:
It is 50 points instead of 35 points.
But is still triggered by an Upper Section Score of 63 or more (first 6 combinations).
One Pair (1P):
Meaning 2-of-a-Kind. A combination which does not exist in Yahtzee.
So the combination 2-5-5-4-6 is worth 10 points.
Two Pairs (2P):
Meaning 2-of-a-Kind and 2-of-another-Kind. A combination which does not exist in Yahtzee.
So the combination 6-5-5-4-6 is worth 22 points.
3-of-a-Kind (3K):
Like in Yahtzee, but only those 3 dice count.
So the combination 2-5-5-4-5 is worth only 15 points (in Yahtzee 21 points).
4-of-a-Kind (4K):
Like in Yahtzee, but only those 4 dice count.
So the combination 5-5-5-4-5 is worth only 20 points (in Yahtzee 24 points).
Small Straight (SS):
The combination 1-2-3-4-5 (in a random sequence). Fixed score is 15 points.
Large Straight (LS):
The combination 2-3-4-5-6 (in a random sequence). Fixed score is 20 points.
Full House (FH):
Like in Yahtzee, but the score is the sum of all 5 dice (not a fixed score of 25 points).
Yatzy (YA):
Like in Yahtzee (5-of-a-Kind). Fixed score is the same: 50 points.
Yahtzee Bonus & Yahtzee Joker Rules:
Not applicable in Yatzy (or Yacht).
